Charter Review Commission

Overview
Please carefully consider your obligation before choosing a board on which to serve. Please note that members may be required to attend training, work sessions, and joint meetings. It is important to have board members who are able to attend the necessary meetings to conduct business. Pursuant to Section 11.07 of the City Charter, the City Council shall appoint a Charter Review Commission at least once every 6 years and it shall be made up of at least 11 citizens. The Commission will meet to review the Charter, inquire into the operation of City Government, determine whether any Charter provisions need revision, propose any recommendations and report its findings to the City Council.
