The City of Murphy was incorporated on September 29, 1958. This year will mark Murphy's 50th Anniversary! The City will commemorate this special occasion with various events throughout the year culminating with the annual Fall Celebration on September 27th celebrating Murphy's Golden Anniversary. The theme for this yearlong celebration will be "Celebrating our Past, Building Our Future".
