A juvenile under age seventeen must appear in open Court with parent or guardian on any charge;
Alcohol Violation: Minors under age twenty-one are required to appear in open Court and must appear with parent or guardian if under age seventeen;
Tobacco Violation: Minors under age eighteen must appear in open court and must appear with parent or guardian if under age seventeen.
Request for extension of time: Must be made in person, in writing or by fax on or before the original appearance date listed on your citation.
Request for a hearing: Must be made in person, in writing or by fax on or before the original appearance date listed on your citation or by extension date.
Appeal to the County Court of Criminal Appeals: Follow the rules set forth in the Texas Code of Criminal Procedures, Article 27.14 or Article 45.
