In order to register your vehicle online, you must meet the following requirements:

• Vehicle owner must be a resident of COLLIN county.
• Vehicle owner has an active email account.
• Vehicle has a current registration that will expire within the next 90 days, including 5 day grace period.
• Vehicle owner agrees to pay by Visa or MasterCard, and agrees to pay a $2.00 online service fee (non-refundable) and a $1.00 mail fee to cover the expense to mail the renewal sticker via the US Postal Service.
• Vehicle renewal notice does not contain "Vehicle Record Messages" indicating non-compliance with state law (e.g. emissions, scofflaw, etc.)
• Vehicle has current liability insurance as required by law in the state of Texas. The insurance covers a period of at least 30 consecutive days and is verifiable by telephone with a local or toll free number.
• Vehicle gross weight must be 54,999 pounds or less.
