Application Process/Pre-Employment
Applications for open job opportunities are available on the first floor of City Hall at the receptionist desk.
Thank you for your interest in employment with the City of Murphy.
APPLICATION PROCESS
A job posting can be reviewed and printed by going to Job Openings. We require a resume and application to be submitted for each job opportunity. Applications are available under the Current Openings section.
Because of the volume of resumes, telephone calls, and the time required to review each resume, you will not be called or contacted unless you are selected for an interview. All applicants who are interviewed will be notified when a selection is made.
We accept resumes and applications for OPEN positions only.
All city employees must comply with all federal government requirements. The City of Murphy participates in the Federal E-verify system of verifying identity and the right to work in the United States. E-verify mandates that one of the items presented must be a picture ID.
